
Solar Trackers are mechanical engineering systems that increase photovoltaic panel efficiency by continuously aligning panels with the sun's position throughout the day. This sun-tracking motion maximizes solar radiation absorption, significantly boosting energy generation compared to fixed panels.
Two primary tracker types exist:
- Single-Axis Trackers rotate panels along one axis (horizontal or vertical)
- Dual-Axis Trackers move panels both horizontally and vertically, maximizing energy output
These trackers incorporate varied steel sections fabricated from ZAM Steel – an advanced galvanized steel with superior anti-corrosion properties. ZAM-coated steel features a protective layer combining Zinc (Zn), Aluminum (Al), and Magnesium (Mg), delivering enhanced performance over traditional galvanized steel.
